All about Room 9

Room 9 is a fun, creative, gorgeous, brilliant and cool class. We have 28 bright and intelligent pupils, 14 handsome boys and 14 beautiful girls (perfect for doing social dance). We have been working on our website for about 3 months.

  • Rock 'n' Roll: Mrs Melton for replying promptly to the interview you were sent.
  • Kids for Kids: Mr Lord for replying promptly to the e-mail interview.
  • Youth Orchestra: Mrs Beckingsale for the interview.

  • Written Language, Reading and Writing: reading interview questions and answers, and writing the information for the web page.
  • Visual Language, Viewing and Presenting: responding to other websites, layout of own page.

Social Studies:

  • Culture and Heritage: looking at a variety of ways that people express themselves, their culture and the past in the arts.

Arts:

  • Dance, Drama and Music: understanding the forms and purposes of the arts in Oamaru, what is avaliable and why.
