| If you're interested in coming to Oamaru, be sure to come to the Victorian fete. It is very fun to watch and enjoy. It's a lot of money to prepare to make sure people from other counties and places from New Zealand enjoy the fete, and takes a lot of time to prepare.

| There are things for adults, like the penny farthing race. That is when you go up Tyne Street on a penny farthing and come back down. There are kids things too: a puppet show (Punch and Judy), story telling, jugglers, magicians and stone cutting for all ages. The entertainers come from Nelson, Central Otago and some more places in New Zealand, including Oamaru. |

The Tyne Street Grunter is very fun to watch, especially up at the top of Tyne Street. Come on, come on!!! Come and see the magnificent Victorian performances! It will amaze your eyes. There are people who dress up. They do it especially for the fete, so if you do come you will also see the awesome and uncomfortable outfits that they wore in the 18th and 19th centuries.
