North Otago Rugby Union - History

Terry O'Neill commentating at centennial park. Read his stories in the Otago Daily Times.

Terry O'Neill was a player for North Otago Rugby for 22 to 32 years when he quit and became a commentator for rugby. Back when he was playing, the boys were a lot smaller than today's ones. The only training he used to do was running around all of the time because they didn't have gyms back then.

Also the score board was burned down by stupid teenagers playing with lighters.

Now Terry O'Neill also does interviews and reports for the newspapers and is on the radio.
