Supporters' Club

Chris Rawson has supported North Otago Rugby since he was 5 years old.
The Supporters' Club get together and go with North Otago to games and get airfares which are cheaper than the normal price. They only send 10–15 people to support North Otago. There are around about 150–200 people in the Supporters' Club.
If you have watched the 2002 NPC ad on TV and you think that the scoreboard in Oamaru burnt down, then you're wrong. A school child put a cigarette in the long grass growing up a ramp. They put the fire out in about 10 minutes. On the TV ad they just animated it a bit to make it look like there was a lot of smoke.
