Scouts

Scouts is great for your social well-being.  You will meet people of all ages from around the district.  It is a great opportunity for you to make new friends from other schools, but also to attend something with the friends you already have.  There are lots of awesome games for you to play and you learn to work with each other to achieve the same goals.  You learn a lot of essential life skills that will help you during life.

Scouts is great for your physical well-being. It keeps you fit and gives you a balanced lifestyle.  You are involved in a range of physical activities and everyone there feels safe and welcome. Some of the physical games are, run up shoots, hockey and go home stay home. You will develop camping skills, hand-eye coordination, balance, strength and become a lot fitter.  It is a great way to improve your health.

Scouts is a great way for you to enjoy your spiritual well-being. It is a great place where people of all ages have  fun and it is a  happy place to be.  At Scouts they reassure you and you feel confident in a range of situations.  You feel safe and you develop skills to help you believe and have confidence in yourself.  You learn to set goals and discover new abilities and the types of things you want to do in life.

Scouts is a good place to gain confidence.  It allows you to develop and use your mental and emotional well-being. You get involved in activities that challenge you and that also involve leadership and team skills. Scouts help you understand what you can do, and that when you set goals  you can achieve them. You feel emotionally happy when you are at Scouts and also when you leave Scouts because you have had so much fun and learnt many new skills.
