Our Penguin
The Oamaru Blue Penguin Colony asked St Joseph's Room 2 to adopt a little blue penguin.  The eggs have been laid.  We will continue to create updated pages with photos of our penguin so you can follow his progress in life. We are sorry, but we will only be able to update once each term.
Daddy Penguin The Father Penguin is 9 years and 4 months old He has had a total of 17 chicks.	Mummy The Mother Penguin is 4 years and 4 months old. She has had a total of four chicks.	The Penguin Colony are hoping to do this with the public soon too.  The whole idea is to allow people to adopt and keep track of their own little blue penguin. Although you cannot take them home, you can adopt an egg at the colony and once it hatches you can keep track of it over the Internet or by going to the colony itself. On the Internet you may even be able to see a movie of your own penguin.
