We are a two teacher school at Omarama.  Omarama is at the top of the Waitaki Valley and the southern end of the Mackenzie Basin.  Omarama is famous for gliding, fly fishing and the Clay Cliffs landforms.  It is an area that many people come into to participate in outdoor activities . . .

however . . .

The area is continuing to change as a result of the farmers irrigating their land. The Senior Room have explored how this has been happening over the last few decades. The Junior Room have shared some information on what happens on the farms in our area.
