Moving the sheep from place to place is usually done with the help of sheepdogs. Sometimes bikes, trucks, horses, and helicopters are used. | ||

With the sheep in the yards, the farmer carries out things like tailing, drenching, marking fat lambs, and drafting different types of sheep into groups. | ||

The
woolshed is where shearing and crutching are done.
Shearing is removing the whole fleece. Crutching is removing wool from areas to keep them clean.
