Moving
the sheep from place to place is usually done with the help of
sheepdogs. Sometimes bikes, trucks, horses, and helicopters are used.
With
the sheep in the yards, the farmer carries out things like tailing,
drenching, marking fat lambs, and drafting different types of sheep into
groups.
The
woolshed is where shearing and crutching are done.
Shearing is removing the whole
fleece.
Crutching is removing wool from
areas to keep them clean.
