Transport Now

Mr Mitchell talks about his scariest moment

"One day I was driving the harvester and I could smell smoke.  I didn't know where it was coming from.  I was worried that the harvester was on fire - and it was!  I called the fire department and drove the harvester out onto the road so that the straw wouldn't catch fire in the paddock, and waited for the fire engine to arrive.  They came and put the fire out and everything was ok".

Their trucks hold 11 tonne. Did you know that that's about the same weight as six cars!

Mitchell and Webster use a truck to transport their seed.

Mr Mitchell thinks big machines are exciting to drive.

Their trucks are more powerful than they used to be.

They have two trucks so of course they need two drivers.
