Home-Behind the books

Clippings past and present

In our library we have a book of newspaper clippings that Mrs Clark puts together as a way of recording our history. There are also books that have been put together by classes that show activities or experiences that they have had, and this is also a way that our school history is recorded.

These clippings are a way of showing our learning and people who visit our school. Some of the clippings from the past show how new classrooms have been added to our school buildings and students who have made it into local community newspapers for talents they have in dance or sports.

We enjoy looking at the clippings because we can look back and see how our school has changed, and find people that we know. These clippings give a good explanation for what has happened in the past either at our school or about students from Holy Cross School.
