Curriculum Links

These inquiry units were part of a whole school inquiry topic on Discovering Tasman.

The following curriculum areas were the main focus of our projects.

Social Studies: Time, Continuity and Change: Level 1/2

The Arts: Visual Art: Developing practical knowledge and understanding art in context.

English: Oral Language: Processing Information: Ask questions, and listen to, interpret, and present information, using appropriate technology.

Essential Skills Focus:

Information Gathering: Our main focus was on developing quality questions which could be used as a base for our inquiries.

Communication: We focused on communicating our information to others by using wonder walls which showed the inquiry process and on making clear statements when sharing information.
