This project is a study of an area of
land in Castor Bay, Auckland. The site of the thriving Rahopara Pa
over 350 years ago, it is now commonly called Kennedy Park and is used as
a recreational area by the local community. It had a particularly
important role to play during the Second World War and the concrete gun
emplacements can still be seen today.
