Kennedy Park and Rahopara Pa

INTRODUCTION:

Our study focuses on Kennedy Park and Rahopara Pa which are both situated just down the road from our school. We often see these places when we are driving past. But none of us knew very much about the park or the pa. 

To begin our study we read some old newspaper articles to gain some background information, next we bought torches and gumboots to school and went to investigate.

We found that there was plenty of history in our area that we didn't know about and we hope you enjoy reading about it on our website.
