Home-Karitane landmarks

Truby King

It took less than a century for the Truby King nurses to become an iconic part of N.Z’s
History.
In 2007 they had their 100th birthday!!!!

TRANSPORT
Nurses travelled by tractor to visit patients but could use a delivery van if they were in a hurry!

If you come to Karitane you could see my house on Huriawa Peninsula, It was the first nursing home in Karitane.
