Photographic Society

The Photographic Society of Alexandra was formed in 1960 for the total cost of $30,000. The most successful trip (according to Barry Wills, the former president) was the Autumn Experience of April 1990. The society went to Fruitland's Gallery, Mitchell's Cottage, Old Man Range, Earsncleugh Station, Clyde, Doctors Point and the Roxburgh Gorge. The Photographic Society is in recess. It is thought that it will not be re-formed. You can contact the photographic society of your area or a photo lab. The best time to get a good photo is when the sun is setting behind you.
