The building was once Kurow School.
The building was once Kurow School.

Children go there to learn.

There are lots of nice teachers who help the children to learn.

There are six classrooms at Waitaki Valley School.

The building is made out of red brick.

The building has lots of windows that let in the sun.

The classrooms are warm and cosy in the winter and cool and refreshing in the summer.

The classrooms are big and the ceilings are high.

The walls are decorated with a lot of fantastic art.

We eat our lunch outside the classrooms.

Room 1 was added onto the brick building and is made out of wood.

The office is beside the classrooms and that is where the principal works.

A big bell near the office is rung when the teachers want us to go to class or when it is raining.

This building was built after the old school here was burnt down in a fire.

The building used to be Kurow Area School and high school children came here.
