When did Woodridge start to develop?

Woodridge Estate started being developed about 20 years ago. It is still under development today and will be for many years to come.

How did the land become available?

Part of Woodridge Farm was subdivided for a housing development called Woodridge. The family that subdivided the farm are involved in the running of Wrightway Homes and Woodridge Developments.

Why was the estate called Woodridge?

Woodridge is called Woodridge because Mr Wright liked the 'wood' theme and many streets were named after types of wood eg. Peppertree Lane, Cedarwood St, Ashwood St, Kentwood Drive, White Pine Ave etc.
