Thanks to all the people who have helped us with our work:

Our teachers, Mr Milward, Mrs Meder, Ms Fagg, and Ms Vial who let us have time out of class to do our research.

Mrs Purchase, our Librarian, who helped us do everything, including putting things on the internet and reminding us about CAPITAL LETTERS.

Lucy from Living Heritage and all the sponsors of the site, because they are helping New Zealand keep it's history safe. and giving kids a chance to do projects and put them on the internet for the whole world to see.

Mr McGowan our Principal, for letting us do this site

All the people we interviewed and photographed including Mr Davis, Mrs Hayson, Mr Van der Zwan, Mr Carstairs, Mrs Skelton, Mrs Ogle, Mr and Mrs Bennett , Mrs Buchanan and Mr Hooton.

Thank you also to Mr Bowron, from North Shore City Council, who let us look inside the observation post at Kennedy Park and the fantastic tunnels (long, dark and spooky).

Thank you to  everyone who has let us publish their photographs, many their own personal photographs.

Thanks to Takapuna Library, Alexander Turnbull Library, Department of Conservation and Devonport Naval Museum for permission to publish their photographs.
