Holy Trinity Church Bell

Bell

The bell was given by the parishioners on the occasion of the church's Diamond (60th) Jubilee, which was in 1905. The bell made in England and it cost 25 pounds. For its size the tone was considered good, compared to that of the old bell, which was often called the 'Te Henui Cow Bell'. The old bell was rung for the last time on January 25 1906. It was taken down that afternoon after serving two generations of Te Henui churchgoers.
