Mill House by Brent

The Mill House was put there because lots of wheat was growing in that area. In those days transport wasn't as good as it is today so the mills needed to be put near to where the wheat was growing.

The Mill House is very old. It has a lot of history. It was a paddock. Then they built a flour mill there. The Mill House also accidentally got burnt down.

After the fire two men fixed it up. One of the men took all of the money and burnt the Mill House again and ran over the hills and was never seen again.

Today the McMillan family own the Mill House. The Mill House is run as a motel and people can get food there. Their pikelets are good too!

There are some sculptures and lots of flowers.
